Just rewatched it. The reviews that I started ages ago are still unfinished. Don't think I'll finish them - too much work and I don't have the time.
Anyway, I just noticed that both of the new women were British. And the one with the accent that I liked more died :o(. Thanks to Life on Mars I am now able to recognize this accent. So either Naomi's from the North of England or she's an alien from the Northern part of her planet (Lots of planets have a North! XD).
At first I couldn't stand Charlotte (because her name is too much like Charlie *sniff* and her accent reminded me of Bela from Supernatural), but now I kinda like her. And her red hair.
Also, imagine Dan as a Brit. It would be perfection, wouldn't it? Hee.
I'm still geeking out over that scene in the Berlin restaurant in 4x03. Trying to find out what's said in the background (If anyone wants a list... or translations... no?). I'm impressed, there's quite a lot. And some people even sound like real Germans. Especially one who sound like a voice actress (Don't remember her name, but she was Sailor Jupiter's voice). And how did they do that with the snow? It looks like real snow. Did they import snow or something?
Btw, Google is awesome. Entered the lyrics of the song that played in the restaurant into Google and found out it's Wann ist es Liebe by Jazzamor. Never heard that song or of the band. They should have played Wir sind Helden. /fangirl
But let me have a different fangirl moment for 4x05: Time-travelling Scots in phoneboxes FTW! And someone called Jack doctor (When did that last happen?). Someone said "RUN!". And sticks with light on one end. Hee. Also, the most epic ships consist of Scottish time travelers and blondes who are far away from them.
What changed for me in one season?
Still not liking Juliet when she gets out her "I'm so superior" face. But I started to like Charlotte.
I still wanna know why the light doesn't scatter quite right on the Island. And if Claire got Charlie's greatest hits, if she found the ring. Why she didn't seem to mourn Charlie beyond 4x01. And WTF happened to her? Was she really in the cabin or was that her ghost? Was Charlotte a Dharma kid or from the Others or why has she been on the Island before? And why did she get off the Island?
