Can't sleep, so here's a spontaneous music post:
1. Lissie - When I'm Alone
Saw this on MTV one night and was impressed.
I like that guitar sound (arpeggio?), that was the first thing I noticed. And that this is actually a real woman who can sing (and play). You don't seem to get that very often anymore. At least not on TV. OMG, she looks so normal. That really shouldn't be as fascinating as I find it.

I did some research, but she doesn't seem to be fandom material for me. The other songs I listened to are very different.
So I read a bit about her and found out she's American. OMG, an American on TV who dares to look normal! Wonders never cease! No seriously, I'm impressed. I'd like to see more of that kind. That's why I like British TV.

2. Kylie Minogue - All the Lovers
I'm suprised that I like a Kylie Minogue song. Well, you know, wonders never cease. I don't like it 100%, but mostly. I don't agree with the choice of synths. Sounds a bit old and annoying. Maybe the word is cheap, because it makes me think of Old Who. Or maybe that's just my brain connecting it to RTD the Kylie fanboy.
Man, that video annoys me. It's a gross violation of personal space. *cringes*
Hm, I swear the version I found on YouTube sounds a bit different from the version I know from German music TV. That beat or whatever is softer in the version I've seen on TV and the synths louder. On YouTube the synths are less annoying, that's good.
