...Only 2 of my shows- no wait, 3 (Supernatural since yesterday) are back. Well, 5, if you're counting shows that I watch on actual TV.

So yeah, I'm mostly bored these days. When my Flist got too empty, I decided it's time to put sherlockbbc on it. Something I hadn't done earlier because what I wanted was news and stuff like that, but that comm consists mostly of slash fic posts. Seriously too much slash in this fandom. But why? Okay, if it's important for the story (PWP, its sole point is of course sexytimes) then yeah fine, but why slashiness in stories that are otherwise gen? I mean why do people degrade a great friendship? How is it less than a romantic/sexual relationship?

Um, yeah, to get rid of the boredom I started reading fanfics. Something that usually happens when I just got a new fandom. Can you guess which fandom? Why yes, it's Sherlock. sherlockbbc_fic. If you know that comm, you're probably wondering why I would read it given my above rant. Sure, it's quite pr0ntastic... 50% plus/minus a lot. I really don't know. But I don't mind for some reason. Maybe because it is - although you wouldn't know that from the link - a kink meme. And I mean, we all know the internet is for porn and people in this comm are just being dutiful netizens. Well, in between the porniness there are a lot of gems. And I love how sometimes errant comments get fills. Or how prompts can get fills that aren't really fills but several hilarious brainstorming comments. Small example.

...when it's actually night and I should go to bed, but I can't get myself to do it, because I feel like I'm not done with the internet yet, so instead of doing what I should do I sit at the PC for some more minutes/hours and click from one website to the next, waiting for new stuff to be posted.
