...I don't even like radio that much, but I prefer it to alarm clocks. Alarm clocks with their shock tactics are evil and will only make me oversleep out of spite. [imagine Muse board's phu smily here] It's only a matter of time until I steal those smilies and upload them here.

Anyway, This Love by Maroon 5 was played, which makes me wonder (Haha, no pun intended, I swear!): How does radio work? The picking of songs, specifically.
Some songs are played again and again - is that because the people who work there like those songs? Or are they somehow obligated to play certain songs? I'm pretty sure it's not because they have the tape just lying around. It's all digital now, so there's digging them up or to avoid that leaving them lying around close by.

Seriously, it's too predictable with the songs by certain bands. If they play Maroon 5, it will be This Love. If it's Muse, it's most likely Starlight. Wir sind Helden? Nur ein Wort!

And what's with this annoying custom of talking over the instrumental beginning of a song? I mean, it can be kinda cool how they manage to get in all they want to say perfectly timed before the singing starts, yeah. Gets a bit ridiculous, though, when have to rewind.

Sooo... "online experience". What exactly is it? A community? I don't need a community, but I'm really looking forward to the additional information. Waiting until October is not cool, though. Or until July 31, if I'm lucky. Still, more waiting! Hmph.

I just read the privacy policy and terms & conditions. Fun times! There's actually a tiny bit of information in there.

However, everyone can register to find out if they are magical, for entry to the site in October 2011.
Will there be Sorting? Official Sorting would be cool. Unless I don't get sorted into Hufflepuff.

At launch, the site allows visitors to experience and explore the first Harry Potter story, with subsequent stories unveiled over time.
How does one experience a story? Dammit, I want to know more.

And they'll have a shop. Hm... ebooks would be really useful. Makes searching for something so much easier!

ETA: MOAR INFO! And a few pics. Sorting, teehee.
