At first Supernatural with its supernatural monsters of the week (and the myth arc) reminded me of The X-Files. I hoped they wouldn't repeat The X-Files's mistake of keeping the show going for too long. But then they did. *sigh*
And to the Supernatural myth arc episodes happened what had happened to The X-Files's myth arc episodes: I stopped liking them, although I generally prefer myth arc eps to other episodes.
At the beginning of the current season (that's #7 - just in case, to save someone time who looks at this entry later) I wondered why I'm even still watching this show (the answer is that I can never stop watching a show, I would miss it if the show gets better again). I didn't like the first 2 episodes (in the Muse board's Supernatural thread they loved them), but then the next 3 happened and I loved them (while on the Muse board they were disliked)! Well, I don't really love the episodes, I like them. What I love about them is the development I see in them. It's back to early Supernatural, the Supernatural I fell in love with! ♥
