But apart from laptop help I also got her nagging about cleaning. So we spend at least an hour dusting and vacuum cleaning and sorting through stuff that was lying around. Gah! The good thing about this is that my desk is now clear of random things. As a reward for all this cleaning I ate the rest of my spare advent calendar's chocolate. Om nom nom.

After the cleaning was done, we connected the laptop to the monitor. There was a tiny bit of color adjusting done, but no resizing. I could have sworn it was possible to stretch/squeeze the picture, but I guess I'm remembering that from my old cathode ray tube. So the laptop's 1366px width will continue to be stretched on this 1680px wide monitor, but it's okay, the pixels are still square.
So I can photoshop again without it being a big pain in the ass, yay! Did I mention that I tried some photoshopping on the laptop yesterday and the too contrasty, too bright, non-adjustable laptop screen was really annoying?
