Was it really officially said somewhere that in this episode the Fall would be solved? Because I can't fucking imagine how this would work when the episode is set over a century before the Fall. Would we see an approximate depiction of what happened? What the fuck is that special anyway? Seriously, I'm worrying about this special.

On the other hand there is one very unlikely way I can imagine this to work. Sherlock was shot by Mary and was sort of dead for a bit. Because he works with the police, he went where (almost) dead police people go: the past! There he solves something that his subconscious already knew and maybe in connection the Fall comes up. Or someone else alsmost dies, does mind time travel and solves the Fall. Hahaha. Ha. Would that be copyright infringement?


...Wait! Something just occurred to me: Since this special isn't canon anyway they could just have Moriarty in it without needing him to be in flashbacks. I need more Moriarty!
