PC: Long story short, the computer is getting repaired (or getting some innards replaced, to be more accurate) and I'll get it back on the 20th. Anticipation \o/! The only downside is that it'll cost me 400€, and that right before mom's & my expensive Iceland vacation!

Minecraft: Jumped through some more hoops and finally have the game installed. What a pain in the ass that was. Luckily I had the MicrosoftHelps Twitter account to keep me sane. Turns out that the big Windows 10 update from April never managed to install. So after some trying (and a fuckload of waiting), I solved that problem and didn't run into any more until I downloaded Minecraft. The download didn't progress and had over 40 other downloads in front of it that the Store wanted to push on me. Since I had only just restarted the computer, it totally didn't occur to me that a reboot would do the trick. MicrosoftHelps sent me a list of things to do when Store downloads get stuck and restarting was the first thing on the list. Okay, so I tried that and tada! Finally I haven't jumped through all these hoops for nothing! And now I can download my world from mom's exhubby's Xbox, ooh!
