Wait, how did I get here? ...Oh, right.
Click link to icons -> find yourself at an LJ with a layout you made. Bit confusing at first, but then yay! I had forgotten how great it is to post layouts to communities - people will actually see and use your layouts!
Sometimes I think I should go looking for a community for layouts (I can post the fandom layouts in fandom comms, but have nowhere to post the misc. layouts), but then I think I wouldn't be able to deal with the competition. It wouldn't even be competition, since I'm not looking for contests, just a place to share layouts! But my stupid brain will always compare and think things like "Why didn't I think of that?", "Why haven't I made a layout like that?", "I'd never be able to make something that awesome!" *sigh*. And this is one of the reasons why I can't have my dream job.

Also, what's your dream job? Don't give up before you've tried!! :)

My dream job is media designer (digital & print, although audio & visual would have been cool too) and I have tried. It's good that I gave up. I was never a quitter, but then I realized that this also means I'm constantly getting my hopes up and then destroyed. Giving up that dream was very good for my sanity.
