Apparently the new album will be called The 2nd Law.
My thoughts on the title: I wonder how we'll abbreviate that one.
My thoughts on the countdown: I wonder what date is is in 102 days.
My thoughts on the trailer: At first I was like "Ooh, sounds soundtracky. :oD" and "Muse, I have faith in you! God, it's nice to not be worried about if I'll like the new stuff.", but then I was like "Dubstep?! For real? D:" and "If this is trolling by fans, it's the biggest one yet. If this is trolling by Teh Kirk: Not cool, sir, really not cool!".
You see, the problem is this: We have fans who just love to troll other fans, and these troll fans have the access to troll in a profesionally-looking way, even doing it via the official site. But since the video was also linked on the Muse twitter I can only desperately hope it's Kirk trolling. Because I just can't fucking stand Dubstep. I don't want to believe they actually took that route.
