Watched The Hobbit again.

This time in 2D and English.

• Sounded like there were other Sherlock fans in the theater, hee. ...Or maybe they were from our group - we didn't manage to get seats next to each other.


• If the movie was in 48 frames per second, I didn't notice it.


• I'm surprised how well I managed to concentrate. Especially since there wasn't a break. :O


• After half of the film I couldn't look at the screen anymore. The movements made me feel unwell. It got better again, but they still made me feel dizzy. Maybe because the screen was closer this time.


• Oh, so that's why the Goblin King is called that! Because he's the king of the goblins! Hey, I read the book in German and the first time I saw the movie was in German - the goblins were called orcs there. Now I'm wondering if the battle at the end will be against orcs or against goblins.

the 48 hfr thing is only for one type of 3d. All other formats of teh film are in regular 24 frames- 3D, IMAX, 2D.

Aha! And what type of 3D is the one with the one with the 48 fps?

The higher frame rate mixed with the 3D is supposed to look really good, provided you don't get motion sick.
