The joy of sharing Sherlock
Did that sound pervy? I'm not talking about Orgylock, if that term even exists (it probably does), I'm talking about making friends watch the show. The last time I met up with a friend, I realized that she hadn't seen Sherlock yet. She wasn't opposed to watching the show, so today we watched the first episode and I think she liked it. She wants me to come over again next Friday to watch another episode or 2. And inwardly I was cackling, because 2 episodes would mean that she'd have to wait for the cliffhanger resolution (unless we have the time to watch another episode and I haven't forgotten to bring season 2). She already knows that a season is only 3 episodes long, but she doesn't know about the evil cliffhanger.

Also, either I just forgot about it or I really only just noticed it for the first time: the first time Sherlock and Jim met was in the same room where Sherlock and John met for the first time. I find this meaningful. And heartbreaking, because I'll always cry about Jim.
