Yeah, still Sherlock thoughts.
I listened to Empire's Mofftiss interview. It's good, so if you haven't done it yet, do it now.

Andrew Scott really fucking knew all the time that Jim would be back. You guys, I remember a few weeks ago how I thought Andrew must be glad that people will finally stop asking him if Jim is alive, ha! Although maybe he doesn't even know that. Maybe all he knows is if they want him back for more filming or not.

This interview starts out with being all about lying to the audience and I totally get the point when it comes to interviews, but I'm seriously wondering if it was necessary to make the apparent Fall resolution so weird in parts. I mean, I understand that for setting up Jim's surprise return and whatever happens in season 4 they needed to keep things from us, but couldn't they have done it in a way that wouldn't leave us feeling let down by The Empty Hearse and then the season in general?

Speaking of lying in interviews: It bothers me so much how they're still lying about the solution, how they're pretending that everything about Lazarus was true and even made sense. It's been 2 fucking years and a wasted season (I feel fucking guilty now for having had an idea like that, as if I jinxed it into reality), I do think we deserve better! Don't interviewers doubt Lazarus? Are they trying to not be a pain in the ass, is that why they're not outright asking why Lazarus doesn't quite add up, so Mofftiss don't have to make up another bullshit explanation?

Ha, they call 3x02 audacious! The one that required faith of the audience. Due to the audacity of 3x01 some of us didn't have any faith left!

I like that they explained that they made the season funnier to then shock us with Sherlock killing someone. I just wish this season wouldn't need so much explaining.

But why can't they ever establish if Sherlock's a virgin? Yeah, sure, there are totally asexual people who do have sex, but I'd just really like them to establish Sherlock as virgin. Because there's nothing fucking wrong with being one and I'd just like that fact to be broadcast into this sex-obsessed world, okay?!

I can't quite follow what they're talking about at around 50 minutes. It seems to be still about 2x02, but I don't remember an apparent explosion. So in a different context, but may still be a hint about the Fall resolution, Moffat calls it a stellar decision to show an explanation just when we think we're not getting any. Although there's no "just when you've forgotten" in the case of the missing Fall resolution.
