Argh, when I moved into this apartment, I thought I'd never have to suffer another renovation again! Because this is an already-renovated building. I don't see why they have to do this again. Good thing that I have little over a week of vacation during renovation time.

Yesterday my mom came over and we took everything off the balcony (after making sure the stuff is spider-free). We moved the platform (which we had built so I can see above the railing when sitting on my balcony) into the kitchen. My quite small kitchen. The platform is leaning against the wall and so far I've managed to only bump into it once - go me! I hope when the renovation is done, the platform will still fit on my balcony!

On the 7th I'm supposed to let someone into my apartment (fucking strangers, argh), so they can do something to my balcony door to make it unopenable. Originally that was also the day for putting up the scaffolding, but that's been moved to the 22nd. I have no idea if that means the balcony-door person will come later too.

*sigh* I'll miss the sunlight. I'll have the curtains drawn for most of the time. Man, do I hate people in front of my windows. And the noise! They're bound to get noisy hours before I get up, ugh. Yeah, stress me out some more, why don't you?!

And at some point I'll have to let strangers into my hermit cave apartment again, because there are pipes in my bathroom and living room that they want to jacket. I'll miss the bathroom pipe, it saved me so much heating costs (seriously, I had a bill of 0€ :oD) that my provider became suspicious.
