To not take away the context of Sherlock talking about Billy Kincaid, "best man" was left untranslated a few times. But the German word was also used, so people would know what a best man is.

As you might know, in German we have a formal you ("Sie") and an informal you ("du"), and annoyingly in the German dub Sherlock and John - despite being close friends - have so far used the formal you to address each other. But now I can't be mad at the translator anymore, because they picked the perfect moment for the change to the informal you: "I want to be up there with the two people that I love and care about most in the world. Mary Morstan... and ... [informal!] you.

And hearing the following exchange with the informal you was the most adorable thing:
SHERLOCK: [formal] You- [informal] you mean ...
JOHN: Yes.
SHERLOCK: I’m your ...
(John nods.)
SHERLOCK: ... best ...
JOHN: ... man.
SHERLOCK (almost simultaneously): ... friend?
JOHN: Yeah, ’course you are. ’Course you’re my best friend.

Bit weird that they changed Sherlock's source for serviette-folding techniques to just "the net", as if we don't know what YouTube is.
