Doctor Who 8x12 Death in Heaven
Am I supposed to believe that Clara is the Doctor? It seems the opening sequence coming right after it wants to make me believe it. But does she even "remember" the things her other selves have experienced with the other incarnations of the Doctor (The unresolvedness of this whole thing annoys me so much!)? God, imagine Clara really being the Doctor - what would this whole Danny business been about then? It just screams heteronormativity. No, god, no, call me desperate, but I'm saying that even Moffat wouldn't be so stupid and make that idiotic mistake twice!

The girl with the scarf and the name that I've unfortunately forgotten! And Kate! Well, holy shit, 2 characters from the special episode that left us with unanswered questions - I just got my hopes up that we'll get answers now. Maybe even to the question why Clara feels like 2 different people from seasons 7b to 8. Seriously, there's nanny!Clara and suddenly there's teacher!Clara without having had any development towards that. Sure, you could argue that nanny!Clara was already studying to become a teacher and when the kids' mother died, she took care of them for a bit - but that just feels like a desperate attempt to make sense of things, because there's no evidence.
The Doctor is on the payroll. Man, that could become useful, because occasionally in this world he needs money and wouldn't it be nice if he could just take it from his own account?
Huh, the Cybermen are flying again, this time they're doing it by themselves.

Ew, pollinating Cybermen.

Huh, Danny is with the kid he killed again. Did they make up this time?

Now Cybermen can build themselves from fluid! *shudder*
Hey cool, now Danny can say "Bite my shiny metal ass!", hehehehe. ...Although that would fit more with the Doctor's personality (but yeah, he lacks the shiny metal ass).

Aw, a mention of the Valiant. And a picture of the Brigadier!
How weirdly unracist of us to choose a chief executive officer of the human race (We're still a species, dammit!) who's not human.

Oh, we're remembering the existence of Jenny? That's nice - now if we could only see her again!
For fucking serious? That's all this has been for? Clara is an incredible liar (since this season - Can you see how the nanny and the teacher are 2 different people to me?) only to have that in common with the Doctor, just for this moment?
That one Cyberman offs the other three. What, Danny? How did he find Clara? Oh, he still has the crumpled paper. What, does he occasionally need to remind himself of who he is?

Oh thank fuck, we're making progress on Gallifrey!

"Files on all our Prime Ministers" - oh god, how could I have forgotten? Well, I guess it's because I have trouble acknowledging this Moffat cliché as the Master. Otherwise I would have started refering to Missy as the Master by now.
OMG, did the Doctor just invite Osgood to travel with him? Yes, please!

What, a Cyberman rising from a grave of someone who died 1748? Did Missy start collecting minds that early? If not, where ...oh, okay, the next scene explains it.

Why did Cyberdanny bring Clara to a cemetary?

"They're newborns, give them time." Ahahaha, that's how the Kill the Moon could have gone.
Oh, a tip-off from some woman? Must be the woman in the shop. And now we know she has a Scottish accent. Do we know any female characters with a Scottish accent who aren't Amy? ...Or are they implying there that the tip-off came from Missy?

Did Missy just go Scottish accent?
You did not really just kill Osgood! Gah, I hate it when good characters are only brought back for the dead.

Ah, so Missy really was the woman in the shop. What, and Clara didn't recognize Missy when she saw her again? And Clara is really supposed to be a control freak? Seriously, Moffat, learn the difference between telling and showing.

Clara wants to help Danny with the inhibitor and wants the Doctor to help her with it. Why doesn't she ask the Doctor anymore to bring Danny back to life?

And Kate apparently just died too. Ugh, why does it have to be the good characters?
Ooh, although, if the whole plane just blew up and Kate wasn't on board, maybe that means she'll survive.

Ugh, this is so stupid. I feel frustrated about this scene with Danny and Clara and the Doctor not because I'm sad for anyone, but because it's just so stupid and unfair. The romance was stupid, I don't give a fuck about it. But Danny had a life and the Doctor should have the ability do save it. Remember the rather useful Flesh? And even if Clara doesn't know about that, she should at least ask for options, because she's traveled with the Doctor, she's seen all the amazing things that are possible. So this scene feels forced and stupid and just fuck it all. And this is all the romance was good for. Argh, all the pointlessness in this season!

I'm so annoyed that I can't even enjoy Missy the Mary Poppins lookalike floating down with an umbrella. N'aw a mention of the Master's love of TV.
Cyberdanny totally didn't participate in that safety demonstration.
It's nice to see that the Master still likes music.
"I need my friend back." Now I'm feeling something!
So nice to see the Doctor smiling! Oh god, is his mood finally fixed? Was he just so grumpy (and really not a good man), because he didn't know if he was a good man? Shit, I got my hopes up. Yes, helping out, learning, that's what it's about! Woo, my hopes are soaring.
Pfft, Cyberdanny's silly speech. No need for that tone or any of that. And that must be the third time the planet has been saved by burning sky. Poor Danny, was only there to die in the end.

Kate \o/! Was that Cyberman Osgood? Oh god, the Brigadier!

Holy shit, when I saw Clara in her bed, I was reminded of Rose in Doomsday, and it's getting more and more Doomsdayier! She's hearing whispers! There's traveling from one world to the other! With a device that has only enough power for one trip! Oh, but it stays Doomsday - they're still in different worlds. Instead Clara of getting danny back she has to find the parents of the kid Danny had killed. Well, hopefully they're still alive.

Ugh, the Doctor didn't find Gallifrey. I hope that's not again the end of it. He better go looking for it now!

Santa! Played by Nick Frost!

Okay, so this season is finally over and we got some answers, thank fuck. There are still some questions left though and I don't have much hope now that we'll still get the answers. Although of course Moffat can take his fucking time with that, as we've seen. But big questions (like How the fuck did Clara and the Doctor get out of that place where they encountered the War Doctor in the previous season finale? What was that place anyway?) should get answered soon! Personally I also still want to know what's with the 2 contemporary versions of Clara.
Best episode this season was the previous one, because it finally got interesting again.
