In the German dub of the Madagascar movies the penguins were voiced by a hip hop group. Since they're musicians, not full-time voice actors, the penguins had to get other voices when the show came along. Now the penguins are getting their own movie and I wondered which voice actors would be used. I've seen trailers with the Madagascar voices and I've seen trailers with the PoM voices (Hey, wouldn't it be cool, if there'd be 2 dubs of the movie? Everyone would be happy!). So today I checked a dubbing website and found out they'll use the movie voices *sigh*. As a fan of the show, these are the real penguin voices to me. Dammit, this will be like the 2nd X-Files movie - there I had to deal with Mulder not being dubbed by his usual voice actor.
