You? Okay, here it is: When I was younger I had an irrational fear of things not making sense anymore.

Only much later did I learn (luckily not by experiencing it) that this fear is not so irrational, that there's a form of mindfuckery called gaslighting.

I'm watching CNN right now (as I do all the time) and there are Trump supporters on again and they're still making no fucking sense! I can't believe there's a presidential campaign happening that's trying to gaslight an entire country. They're so steadfastly denying obvious truths that it makes me feel I've landed in an upside-down parallel universe. How can anyone believe this bullshit?! They're probably believing it themselves and I just can't wrap my mind around how someone can have such an ass-backwards point of view of things (like: pointing out rascism is the actual racism). WHAT THE FUCK?!
