Sherlock 4x01 The Six Thatchers
Finally I had time to watch the episode \o/! And now I have almost a week of internet surfing to catch up on.

Heh, I bet Mycroft is Antarctica - he's the Iceman.
Whoa, Sherlock has a Twitter account?!
I love seeing Sherlock and Mycroft fighting like kids.
Oh, nice, a bit of footage editing and Sherlock's out of trouble.
I can't wait for the posthumous game to be properly on. Come on, give me that glorious plot!

Meh, changed opening sequence. I can't take John's frown.

Sherlock watching the sharks that he earlier had described so disdainfully while telling us the story of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Oh please, get the people on this show some help with computers! John acts as if he's typing the entry that is not in editing mode! And it's not even a website, it's clearly a screenshot!

Wow, finally Dimmock makes a comeback! I thought that wasn't the same actor, but the IMDb says it is.

Oh, good that Molly tells us the meaning of Rosamund. Because all my German brain could hear was "pink mouth". Name saved! And that nickname makes me think of Sam's wife from Lord of the Rings. How very fitting that our Hobbit's daughter has the name of a Hobbit.

I really like the directing of this episode, the scene transitions. God, I'm so damaged from 2x01 & 4x00 that I didn't expect the show to recover from these!

Aha, it was the son! He's the one who'll destroy the Thatchers, right? And as an alibi he's calling from what he pretends is far away.
Ooh, isn't that the house from Doctor Who 2x05 & 06?

Well, that story didn't at all go the way I thought it would.

"You're at the beck and call of a screaming, demanding baby, woken up at all hours to obey its every whim - must feel very different." XD Ha, John continues the joke.

Yeah, pull those loose threads! Especially the Jim one!

Oh, North Korea! There we have a connection to Lord Moran, who was working for that country.
Aw, "as inevitable as mathematics". My cup of Moriarty feelings runneth over!

Ooh, the story of how Sherlock and Lestrade met.
So when Lestrade had known Sherlock for 5 years in 2010, it should be 2015 now. Oh god, I kinda want to check if that timeline can make sense, but what if it doesn't? That would be so frustrating.

Is that red thing a balloon? Is Sherlock babysitting while listening to this case?
Oh, it's a John stand-in! XD
Hm, is this Jim plot real or is Sherlock just making it up? Goddammit, it would be fun, but judging by the soundtrack, it's bullshit.

Hey, don't make fun of Ostalgie! It's not the political stuff people are missing, it's the cultural stuff, products and such. You know, sorta like Vivian and the Mivvies.

Finally there's a pool and someone's going into the water!

What, the memory stick?! Ha, of course it wouldn't be the pearl. But how did that stick survive the fire?!

What, A.G.R.A. are the initials of several people? A bit disappointing. Ah, but Mary is R. - so Rosamund, I guess.
Oh, it's a different memory stick.

Come on, give me the info on the memory stick! I mean, I love that we're getting some of Mary's backstory, but I want more, more!

Huh, so Mary worked for Mycroft - like in 4x00.

Whoa, I didn't expect Mary to leave in the first episode of the season! :o(

Ugh, tracking device in the memory stick - that's a really basic mistake for a superspy!
"You could have talked to me." But talking wouldn't have kept you safe, John! You can't work that stuff through!

Oh, "Love" as in the codename for one of the people in the room when they presented Sherlock how he got off the hook regarding Magnussen's death?

Ugh, John, you sort-of cheater!

Oh, so it wasn't Lady Smallwood, phew. But dammit, not cute Vivian!

Heh, John and Mary remembering they need to get someone to watch Rosie. I love it when normal life collides with spy stuff and such. ...God, I wish I had time for an Alias rewatch!

Hm, what's up with the Moriartyness of this scene? Water, "final act", "why does anyone do anything".

Oh god, no, don't you kill off Mary! Although, the good thing is that she's a spy and you can't trust those to stay dead. Especially on a show that has already resurrected characters. Lalala, they're totally faking it, everything is fine.

The psychologist is forever changing offices.

Sherrinford, interesting.

...Everything is fiiiine.
