On Tuesday I went back to the electronics store where I bought the new monitor (Eizo) and told the guy from the monitor section that I'd like to give back the Eizo I bought the previous day and instead buy a 25in one. He said it would be possible, but tried to talk me into keeping Eizo instead and just asking the manufacturer how to make the settings that would make it look the way I want it. But that's bullshit, it wouldn't work and I tried to explain that to him several times. After some minutes I gave up explaining and kept telling him to just show me a 25in monitor. He said they don't have one in the store and would have to order it. So he did and on Friday I could pick it up (it already arrived on Thursday, but I was busy with Star Wars that day).

Finally everything's the right size again! And now I just managed to get the balance of brightness and constrast right. The only remining problem is that it's maybe a biiit too sharp. And I can't adjust that anywhere. But I think I can live with that and can finally get back to photoshopping! \o/
