Apparently it's possible to be 85, have asthma, contract Covid-19 and be okay!
A while ago my mom's neighbor and the latter's husband went on a cruise, although by that time 2 cruise ships had already been in the news for Covid-19 cases! As I mentioned: Neighbor is 85 and has asthma, so I can't fanthom why a person with a double risk would still go on a fucking cruise. The trip wasn't even that expensive - and even if it had been, lives are worth immeasurably more, FFS.

The cruise went well, but a few days later Neighbor developed flu symptoms. She and her husband were tested and what do you know, they have Covid-19. So the moral of the story is: Don't go on a floating petri dish when a worldwide pandemia is underway!

The good news is that Neighbor's symptoms aren't bad. Her husband was on a ventilator for a bit, though. He's now better and can breathe on his own, so I guess that means he'll survive.

It's kinda baffling to know people in a statistic, as the numbers here are somewhat low. 400 cases - of which 50 were hospitalized - in a city with a population of half a million.
