I think I mentioned before that there's a rerun of Dark Angel on TV and I'm watching it. So two weeks ago we got 1x10 & 11. In 1x10 there was the asylum from Asylum. And in 1x11 Samantha Smith. I think I did the victory arms when I read her name in the credits. For me she's Mama Winchester because I've never seen her in another role. When we finally get to see her, we also get to know her character's name: Daphne. That reminds me of Dean saying "Mmm, Daphne" (or something like that) and now that's just wrong. Turns out once upon a time Daphne was Logan's girlfriend and they were engaged for about five minutes. At the end of the episode the mystery of the short engagement is solved: Daphne seems to be interested in Original Cindy. Aw, OTP! ...Except for the part where my brain can't stop thinking that's Mary Winchester.
Heh, just watched Criminal Minds and who was a guest star? Samantha Smith! This episode gives Mama Winchester's "angels are watching over you" a whole new and creepy meaning. Also: ZOMG, that ep is the first part of the Reid episode. I get my Reid episode now! \o/
Okay, back to the asylum. The first time I saw it was on Three (the same episode Brian Markinson was in, who played Jerry Panowski in Phantom Traveler). Now that I've seen it on Supernatural, I finally know that Three was shot in Vancouver. Anyway, a couple of nights ago I was bored and looking for something to watch on TV. There were the opening credits of a movie and I waited to find out if it's any good. First thing we see after the credits is the asylum. Heee. Well, okay, those weren't really the credits, more like "Thingy presents a Whatever film". But then the credits started and OMG, another Samantha. This time Ferris. YAY, Ellen! But she was only in 3 or 4 scenes (as the wife of one of the main characters). George the dentist/demon from Phantom Traveler was also in the movie. Ooh, they did the thing with the exit sign that they did in In My Time of Dying! So I thought someone's gonna 'take the exit' soon and someone did. Heh. Btw, the film was called The Inspectors.
