Had to write little reviews about those eps.
1x16 Letters from Pegasus
Hee, this episode deserves its own review post. I'm starting to think every SGA ep does.
When Ford recorded his video and they showed some bits from past episodes I was afraid we'd get a clipshow.
I loved the videos!
LOL, Zelenka telling the story of Atlantis rising.
Beckett's video made me sniff. A lot of those people on the expedition don't seem to be family persons. But Beckett...aw! I had to think of the episode Sunday. :o(
Kavanagh is back. And instead of recording a message for family or friends he has to complain. I could understand the problems he had in Thirty Eight Minutes, but now I'm more on Weir & Co's side and we didn't see any of what he complained about and why he had problems with those things, so... Okay, maybe he's starting to be annoying.
Oh good, videos for the families of those who got killed. I really wonder how many that are. I wondered before, but now I want to count. That were really a lot of people, I want to know the (more or less) exact number.
"Heroism"? That's an annoying new trend I noticed on German TV. They translated this word as "Heroismus". Who the fuck says that? In English there are words that are just normal words that come from Latin. In German there are German words for those. Using Germanized Latin words is stupid, it only makes you look like you want to be better, "Ooh look, I use fancy words!" and/or like an idiot because those words don't even exist in German.
Aw, someone is thinking ofDoggett Sumner. His family gets a message too.

Amanda Tapping is in the credits, and this short scene at the end is all we get?
1x17 The Gift
Heh, Teyla who's never heard of psychologists before doesn't like them - just like most people.
I like how Teyla was so close to the answer to her ability when she asked Heightmeyer why some people have green eyes and others brown. It's in the genes! It's cool. And reminds me a bit of Harry and Voldemort. They had a mind connection too.
And speaking of HP: when Teyla vanished through that wall did McKay make a HP reference or is this just wishful thinking?
:oD They mentioned (I love it when things from past episodes are mentioned. Did I mention that?) the Thirty Minutes episode. That was a good ep!
