Whoa, last time I went to see a movie in a theater is about 11 months ago.

After 6 long years The X-Files finally comes back and on the opening day the room is only 2/5 full? :O

The beginning with the dogs made me think of the episode Alpha. I didn't like that ep.

Dude, Scully is a real doctor now. What a sucky job. I wouldn't want to work in that place. And can I just say that I think Scully doesn't look good? When Gillian Anderson pics were posted to [livejournal.com profile] xfiles I didn't get why everyone said she looks amazing. I mean, she's not ugly, it's just...I don't know. She looks different, I'm not sure what it is. Her face looks thinner or something.

I've seen the movie in German (and only once), so I can't really quote. But heh at the "What's up, doc?". And the beard.

Ooh, if the FBI forgives everything then can we have Mulder and Scully back as agents, please?

Sunflower seeds \o/! And when Scully said something about Mulder being bored or something and the camera seemed to go towards the ceiling, I hoped for pencils. And I got pencils! YAY! I've always loved the pencils.

And then there's the first case of things I noticed in the background that shortly later came into the foreground: A pic of Samantha on the door. The next case was in the FBI building with the picture of Bush. I loved how they showed it and played the X-Files theme. LOL. Yeah, how he got voted President twice is a big fat X-file.

Okay, they're throwing in mention after mention, but when they reached Luther Lee Boggs & Co. I thought it was enough. It just felt kinda random.

Heh, bleeding eyes. You know how easy it is for me to get reminded of Supernatural. There were a couple of things in this movie that made me think of the show, but there were 2 things that were better than the rest. The second victim and her kidnapper. I was almost sure that victim 2 was played by Nicki Aycox (who was not only Meg on SN, but had also been on an episode of X-Files), but we didn't get a good look at her. The kidnapper's face looked familiar and I thought about it for a couple of minutes. Then I remembered where I knew him from: he played the guide in the SN ep Wendigo.

Ooh, Mulder & Scully in bed. It's sad, but this film really was only good for the MSR. Anyway, they mention William. Just a mention, nothing more *sigh*. And then Mulder finally shaves! \o/

Hee, they used the HRG angle on the pervy priest. I think his name was Father Joe. Whatever. When I first saw the trailer I thought Langly! *Sigh* I miss the Lone Gunmen. Jump the Shark was a mistake. ...But I like the title. ^_^

And there we have it, the first time I thought they are trying to do something cool, modern (I don't know how else to describe it :o/ ) - stem cell research. I don't think it's a bad topic, but for a film that lame it just seems kinda desperate.

WTF was that? It looked like Mulder and Scully were breaking up. o_O

Heh, Manners Colonial Hospital.

It finally got a bit exciting when Mulder chased Wendigo!guide. Wendigo!guide kicked Agent Whitney from a high up floor. Her fall seemed to last long and that was fun. Like: Ooh, she's gonna go *splat*! Ew, but awesome. *evillaugh* Loved that. And really, who cared about her? ...Or that other agent with the weird name.

And then another background thing that came to the foreground: Nutter's Feed. ^^

Did I see that right? On Mulder's cell there was a Gillian above Scully? Hee.

Chris Carter cameo! In the hallway where Scully is, after Mulder went off the road.

Of course the cases (the case and the stemcell research research Scully did for Christian) were connected. :o/

Bad guys OTP! No, it just seems like one of the desperate topic choices. Stem cell reseach, gay marriage and pervy priests. It just doesn't work. It's too much, done too lame.

Woohoo, Skinner! Better late than never, right?

LOL, headless dude ...or bodyless. Either way, WTF? LOL.
And that's when I was sure victim #2 was Nicki Aycox - when she was in the ice water. I recognized the lines around her mouth.

Skinner could have gotten a bit more to do. But awww, how he was holding Mulder. I need to say it again: Aaawww.

So when Father Joe told Scully not to give up he was talking about Mulder, not Christian. Big surprise. Or not. I never even thought about the possibility that he could have been talking about Christian. Because WHO THE FUCK CARES? Really, I cannot tell you how much I didn't care about Christian. Everytime his storyline came up I was only able to react with *shrug*, nothing more, nothing less.

Ooh, a real kiss.

Liked the music that played during the credits. I should try and find out what it's called and then illegally download it, but I bet I'll forget.

I knew that there was something after the credits. But that's not why I stayed. I always watch the credits. More than half of the audience didn't. Ha, this is what you get (or don't) for it, you idiots! Um, yeah, I just don't understand why one wouldn't want to watch credits.
Anyways, I liked how the pictures behind the credits were ice and then slowly changed to water and then there were Mulder and Scully on vacation! Heh. And they waved. Breaking the 4th wall, WTF? Or maybe the waved the spying satellites or aliens...

It wasn't a bad movie. As I said (I think), I consider it an episode, and there are good ones and not so good ones. It definitely had its moments, but the plot could have been better. Should have been! Because if this movie isn't successful, there won't be a next one.

And I really, really want my agents back.
