Look, it's a review! One month late. So pretty early, actually.
Oh, that title. It came after the announcement that/when DT would leave, so I knew that this wasn't the special when it would happen. Still, that title shocked me. Maybe because it's as if the title's saying "Oh hey, I know you're sad, but let me kick you some more! Muhahaha!".
"What year?" - "You thick or something?" *snort*
Okay, so the trailer that I saw was the first minutes of the episode. Does anyone believe that this other Doctor really is a future incarnation of our Doctor? I don't. Because wouldn't he recognize a past version of himself? Of course this doesn't explain the sonic screwdriver or the TARDIS and the companion... and the Time Lord (I find it suspicious that he just throws around these words). Maybe a certain Journal of Impossible Things or that book full of spoilers took a trip back in time... we'll see.
Oh, but this is a different Cyberman (They keep coming back just like the Daleks, huh?) than the one I remember from the trailer. I think it looked shinier and had some black parts.
Okay, so first Christmas not spent in our time. I hope this means a peaceful Christmas 2009 for London. Or maybe it's an attempt to get back to our real time. You know, since Rose came back a year too late everything was set one year in the future, which can be a bit of a problem sometimes. Without Christmas spent in 2009, the Doctor could just come back to the middle of the year, shortly after when the S4 finale happened and the timeline would be synchronous with reality again.
Whoa, it can jump, almost fly! Weird Cyberman that is (reminds me a bit of Voldemort). And one in 1851! Steampunk? Cool. ...Oh, is that fur? I thought it was a cloak. "Timorous beastie" ^^
Hug! \o/ Oh, one day I'm gonna make a list of all the hugs. Love me some hugs!
Now I kinda want him to trip over a brick. Also, thank you for a new euphemism! I love it. Trip over a brick, heh.
"You won't believe this, Mister Smith, but they are creatures from another world." - "Really. Wow." The way he says it, hee! ♥ I don't want a new Doctor. *sigh*
"Oh, 'don't blink', remember that?" Hee. I still think that's not the future Doctor. Maybe just because I don't want him to ever forget. Maybe because that sonic screwdriver didn't look very sonic.
Ah, there they are, real Cybermen. I wonder where these came from.
"This is hardly work for a woman." Okay, you're so not the Doctor!
"You ask a lot of questions." - "I'm your companion." Hee. The Doctor as a companion, that's something new.
The fobwatch is just a fobwatch. Of course it is.
Aw, that reminds me of Supernatural, Dean and his mom (2x20)

Haha, exploding heads!
I bet the Doctor just only heard one heart.
What an entrance: wearing a red dress to a funeral - the disrespect, awesome. Also love how it stands out with everyone else in black and the surrounding snow.

"The TARDIS is magnificent, but it's hardly a home." See, totally not the Doctor. Sure, we haven't seen those other rooms, but they are there, somewhere. And with those rooms (or even without - just like the Impala on Supernatural is a home) it is very much a home.
Haha, the TARDIS is a balloon.
"Turn right. Turn left. ..." Miss Hartigan has fun with the earpodded men. It seems everyone has fun with that.
What, those Cybermen are from the Void? Shit, if they are back, so could be the Daleks. Oh, what am I talking about, 'could be'? They're so going to be back.
Ooh, so the fobwatch wasn't just there to mislead us, and for a gag. It's a real clue! So that other Doctor is Jackson Lake. Mystery solved, yay. Flashbackorama - all the Doctors can be seen, aw.
Aw, the soundtrack reminds me of Donna's theme.
I like Miss Hartigan, she's got style. I love villains like that.
Rosita punches Miss Hartigan in the face and the Doctor says he completely disapproves. Yeah... doesn't sound like it. ^^
So Jackson remembers the cellar, his wife, but he swears there was something else in that room. Uh... a kid, maybe? Kind of obvious, no?
Miss Hartigan is going to be the Cyberking? ...But shouldn't it be Cyberqueen? I know, I know, Cybermen have no gender, but then why does the standard naming have to be male? Couldn't they find something more neutral?
:O Demon eyes!
Whoa, Cyberking!Miss Hartigan pwns the other Cybermen. Her mind is still there. Will we get a new kind of Cybermen?
"What about the children?" ^^
Did I hear pie? I love me some pie!
Ha, a kid, I knew it! Jackson Lake has a kid. But, dude, what a fugly kid it is. Looks like a doll, ew.
Humongous Steampunk Mecha FTW!

Although... if you look at it you kinda start wondering how there wasn't something in the history books about this, don't you?
Okay, so now the Cyberking is the ship/big friggin robot? It's a bit confusing. Then what is Miss Hartigan now? ...Oh, oh! I know! She's the heart, right? That's why she's in red.
Haha, the Doctor's hair, doing what it does best: defying gravity. This time with the help of the wind.

Ooh, I thought so, Miss Hartigan's eyes are normal again. ...Well, you could hear it in her voice. Whatever the Doctor had tried, it worked. ...OMG, she exploded! That's sad, she was a great villain.
Ooh, the Dimension Vault seems to know what belongs there and what doesn't. Would suck if there hadn't been parts sucked in and dropped on people or if people had been sucked in.
Not once has he ever been thanked O_o? I admit, my memory isn't that great, but I think I do remember differently. Sure, he doesn't get thanked that often, but it has happened!
And from up there he's supposed to hear people thanking him? O_o

Hee, fanboy!

Aw, talking about companions. "I suppose in the end... they break my heart." Aw, can it be hug time now? You woobie, you!
Aw, Christmas dinner!
