So Matt Smith will carry the Olympic Torch on Saturday. I'd probably fangirl if I wasn't convinced that this means that David Tennant won't carry the torch. Oh god, I just need David Tennant to carry it - I've hoped for this for years!

Scott appeared to rule out an appearance in Doctor Who, which is currently run by Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat.

"It might be a bit weird for the Doctor Who fans to have Moriarty coming up," he suggested. "It's a great show, but I think that might be a bit too weird for people to accept."
