Last night was Dresden's Long Night of Sciences, where the university and colleges show and tell you interesting stuff about all kinds of things. My best friend and I went.
First we listened to a talk about terrestrial laser scanning. We were shown the 3D image of an actual murder case! In low resolution, though, because there was an appeal. Then the room with us was scanned. I found it fascinating to read "Denim" on a guy's shirt. Must have been elevated then, because obviously the scanner sees distances (and assigns different shades of gray to them) but not color. My blue Moriarty shirt was displayed as white.
After that my best friend and I took the shuttle bus to the IT building. While we were there I checked the notice boards, but my #believeinSherlock poster was gone.
Café ASCII is memetastic :oD! But I have no idea why they spelled coffee with an i.
( interesting stuff )
