Because if your singificant other has this kind of job (well, royalty isn't exactly job, as it just gets dumped on you by birth), it affects your job too. Then your job is to represent and do charitable stuff! Nothing against charities, but it does suck big time to get a job dumped on you due to your SO's career choice (if it is a choice).

This post was brought on by me having seen both (Lacks a bit of choice, no?) US parties' national conventions and a documentary (that felt digustingly royalist to me) on William & Kate and Albert & Charlene.

Verdict: They did a good job with not making it like Sherlock. But so far it's only some crime show, it doesn't stand out. What it has going for itself is that I like crime shows. I guess I'll keep watching.
