In related news: I've bought a French DVD just for the caps. First let me explain the German Sailor Moon DVDs: they contain the dubbed version and the original version. The former is without subtitles, but the image has more contrast and is slightly cut off at the edges, while the latter is with subtitles, but they aren't removable. There are only German Sailor Moon DVDs of the show, not the 3 films. Of those films I only have old (= low-res) VHS-ripped files, which aren't worth capping. So I ordered the first film (to check if the subtitles are removable) from a neighboring country. Mmm, shiny DVD quality! And the subtitles can be turned off, yay.
