I thought that I hadn't seen it until now was just because I'm so fond of Tobey Maguire's Spidey and that I'm generally not one for movies. But I just looked at my Spidey tag and saw that I had actually watched Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. I guess after that movie I decided that non-Tobey Spideys aren't worth watching and I subconsciously remembered that.
I'm so much not a movie person that I didn't even keep up with the MCU, although I quite liked the movies that I had seen. It was only because of the trailer for Far from Home trending on Twitter today - I watched it despite the Endgame spoiler warning - that I got curious enough to finally check out Homecoming.
So that's the story how I fell in love with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. The movie is great (e.g. when Peter got to Liz's house to pick her up for the dance, it was such a huge oh-shit moment that I needed to take a little break) and Tom Holland is perrrfect and I can't wait for more. Dammit, for Endgame and Homecoming I'll have to go to the movie theater - alone. Alone is never as fun.
