It's a Sherlock post, what else?!

"We've worked out how Sherlock survives, and actually shot part of what really happened."
Ooh! You know, I've always wondered why some cliffhanger resolutions aren't filmed along with the cliffhanger. Filming it already would be easier than coming back months later and having to try and make everything/-one look the same.
And they've filmed it already, yay! That means the truth is already out there!

Sherlock will be back for a third series of three 90-minute episodes, hopefully before the year is out, he says.
*Jawfloor ... crosses fingers*
ETA:
suevertue Sorry to be a killjoy but @steven_moffat didn't actually mean S3 of #sherlock would tx before end of year. I think that is sadly unlikely.

"Sherlock Holmes is really that posh freak from a wealthy family"
Oh, so wealthy family is confirmed them.

Then there's the bit about Sherlock's sexuality. Moffat, you goddamn troll! Why can't I just get an asexual hero instead of a celibate one?! ;___; No, seriously, that makes me cry.
ETA: Reading this thread improved my mood. Ha, I went there to look for a rant post about it and of course there was one. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who didn't like that bit. It's much easier for me now to disregard what Moffat said there. Also, this thread made me lol. This fandom is beautiful.

Moffat is a teensy bit arrogant with his 'ooh all the fans missed it' cant. We will see whether we missed it, won't we! And if he means 'missed it', as in 'oh we didn't know that there was going to be Bee Gees by the poolside', then... *bites own head*

Anyway, somewhere else I read something that results in my present theory: Sherlock didn't send a suicide note to John but was sending him a sekrit message: I'm a fake! (i.e. not dead) It's a magic trick! (i.e. not dead) and so forth.

*brain hurts with theories overload*

Ha, yeah, I wonder if we really missed something or if the Moff just missed the theories. This fandom is so big, observant and thinky, I'm sure someone's figured out the thing Moffat thinks we've missed. Or maybe it's something we can't help but miss. After all it's Moffat's style to make it completely possible to figure out what's going one - except for that part that you just can't know.

Ooh, nice theory!

I mean: how could anyone have predicted Bee Gees!ringtone?? That one's from left field. Are they going to do the same with Reichenbach? Oh, I hope not because I'd like it to be a proper puzzle: work-outable from clues. So we can all be Holmes.

What is it that you ove so much about posh Sherlock?

So far I'm not too panicky (but no doubt that's just a matter of time) and I trust in Moffat's writing. What annoys me most about him are his trollish tendencies. I mean, really, he's turned from the showrunner who lies a bit in order to keep us guessing into a goddamn troll who just loves to bullshit, because it makes us bitch about what he said. Thing is, if he wouldn't start it, we wouldn't need to bitch. Why do trolls not see that they're being assholes and not more right than the trollvictims?

Ha, gay - you wish! Okay, I think we could make a compromise. How about Sherlock is asexual but homo- or biromantic? I don't know what's with my brain, you say chemistry and I think crack fic! Sherlock and John are chemical elements! They can have proper chemistry! I imagine Sherlock would start it all by telling John to help him with an experiment. ...I think I'll put this too in my next bunny post.
