It's goooood! Watched the first episode yesterday and it was so good that I downloaded the second right away and watched it too.

Okay, let me see if I remember everything I wanted to mention. My thoughts on the first 4 episodes:

- Gooore! I don't know why, but I like it. Maybe because other shows avoid it? And I'm also a bit fond of zombies. The show makes me want to rewatch Dead & Breakfast and Shaun of the Dead.

- Seriousness! I don't know how other people feel about zombies, but I find them sort of silly (from a real-life point of view), so I like how you're just thrown into the story and the show doesn't even spend time on What, seriously?.

- Accents! I don't like them because I'm not used to them, so I'm having trouble understanding the dialog (like Life on Mars in the beginning). On the other hand it's great to have accents matching the setting - I'm not an expert on accents, but I think that's unusual.

- Weather! I like the rolling thunder for 2 reason: 1. I find the sound cozy. 2. Some time before it becomes a plot point and after it it's just weather in the background. It's plotfree background weather, there should be more of that on TV.

- Cheating. Well, not really, because she thought her husband was dead (I can't remember all of the names yet. They should do it like Supernatural and have the characters constantly use each other's names. Oh Sam & Dean ♥), but it a bit early, no? Hm... I don't even know how much time has passed since the zombie apocalypse. Anyway, it annoyed me because I'm not a fan of this sort of drama.

- Death! I knew that sooner or later someone of the group would die, but that didn't help making the ending of episode 4 any less cruel. She wasn't even a favorite, but just seeing her sister (It's Marita Covarrubias from The X-Files!) so sad! ;_;

And a question: What do they call the zombies that aren't walkers (I think it sounds like geeks) and in what way are they different from walkers?

- Gore: Yeah, I felt the same after, but I don't have my Dead and Breakfast DVD with me and the download I found was corrupted :(

- I liked that as well, it's just a fact of reality and they have to survive!

- Accents- yeah, it's more realistic!! The guy who plays the sheriff is british in reality!

- I didn't even notice that! Lol, I love thunderstorms as well!

- Yeah, I know what you mean, but I think it's also realistic that that may happen.

- Mhm! They do a good job of making the deaths have an impact! ♥

Umm I'm not sure, they call all the zombies walkers I think. Can you give me an episode/approximate time and I'll go back and watch it! :)

Have finished the first season now (I'm so glad that camper van guy survived the season finale, he's so likable!). It's depressing and totally dystopian, but so good! So I'll keep watching.

He's British? Ooh, let me check the IMDb... ha, I've seen him before! He was in Love Actually! Hm... now that I'm trying to remember, I think he was the guy who was in love with Keira Knightley's character.

Geeks or whatever the word is: In 1x05, I think 5-6 minutes in.

I forgot to mention realistic hair! Okay, I've only really noticed it with Rick's wife: I like that her hair looks unstyled. Well, not completely, but she definitely didn't use a hairdryer on her bangs.

YEAH!!! I realised when I was watching Love Actually!!!!!!! And yeah, he was.
