Of cars and a book
Obligatory Sherlock-related part of this post: Saw a nice car today. It was dark gray, reminded me of the color of the shoes Jim wore with his light gray suit. When I looked at the numberplate I saw the letters JM - this is obviously some sort of sign!

It appears my sanity is coming back bit by bit. My crush on Jim is going back to being a normal crush, I'm feeling more productive (on the bus, a few minutes ago, I felt like working on all my layout ideas - let's see if I still feel as productive when I finished typing this entry) and I managed to stop playing Yellow Car (which is hard, because they're everywhere).
Speaking of: Today I saw 4 yellow cars and a yellow phone booth at the same time! Not only was there a second car parked where there's usually only one, on the street around the corner two yellow cars passed each other. What a magical moment.

Ooh, perfect transition: Jo Rowling! Her website was updated. I'm the sort of person who doesn't like change and it usually takes some time to convince me, so I don't like the new site. There was a moment of hope when I saw there's a button for Harry Potter and hoped the old site would still be accessible. I could keep on hoping, because the stupid thing wouldn't load. And the page for the new book wouldn't either (which means that I have a legitimate reason to dislike the new site, ha). But the internet is fast and information is everywhere, so I found out about the new book anyway.
So far the plot summary doesn't sound too interesting (except for the part that the town made me think of Hot Fuzz, heh), but that doesn't have to mean anything. Can't judge a book by its cover summary. The name Barry amused me, because a) it rhymes with Harry (and it's only a one-letter difference; heh, H and B, that makes me think of pencils), and b) a lot of other names do. Think of how many more books Jo could write if she keeps this naming theme, haha! Carrie (that book probably shouldn't have that name alone as a title), maybe a book about a fairy, Gary, something about the twins Jerry and Jeri (who are from the same town as James Moriarty and his brothers James and James - they have this weird naming tradition there), Kerry, Larry, Mary, Perry, Sherry, Terry & Teri. Have I forgotten anyone?

How I feel: get started on ALL the layouts

Omg, I'm going to miss her old website, I knew it by heart, it was a part of my internet home or something. Now it looks all new and shiny and... normal. *weeps*
But the summary: it sounds exactly like my taste in novels, especially atm. Excited! :D

That website was my childhood early twenties! ;_;
I'll miss all the extra info that I painstakingly collected via the little games there.

"62442" on the phone. I did that so many times. The good old days. *sigh* I should have screen-capped all the extras.

Heh, I didn't remember the code, but the number did look very familiar.
I've made a few caps, because I'm a hoarder like that XD. And I've even made some icons - I'm so tempted to upload one of them to my userpics now.
