Lemons and Landmarks
Yesterday I bought a lemon just so I could take pictures of it. I hope my mom (Have I mentioned she's a cook?) can think of something to do with the lemon now that I'm done with it. Anyway, I took pictures for the fun Lemons and Landmarks project.
These are all interesting places, so I linked the captions to Wikipedia articles. Click the pictures for hi-res.

A part of the FĂĽrstenzug. I chose this part because of the funny sobriquet Friedrich der Gebissene (Frederick the Bitten).

Yellow tram!, my best friend and in the background the Semperoper.

Semperoper & monument of John of Saxony (who commissioned the opera house)

walking into the Zwinger - view on the crown gate

inside the Zwinger - Wallpavillon & Französischer Pavillon

still inside the Zwinger - Glockenspielpavillon (the glockenspiel is made of Meissen porcelain)

My (hopefully not too long) message to John Finnemore:
Dear John Finnemore,

despite my fear of making a fool of myself I wandered through the tourist-filled part of town and took pictures of a lemon (with the support of my awesome and lemon-holding best friend) - that's how much I love Cabin Pressure.
I'm usually not one for audio (I find it hard to concentrate on), but Cabin Pressure is the exception that proves the rule. It's hilarious, the plots are well written and the characters so great. Thank you for this show!

PS: If there's a season 5, name the D-episode Dresden, please and thank you!
