To-Watch List

I'm currently feeling horribly behind with pop culture (I didn't even know there were more X-Men movies after the first one). Movie-wise - probably because I'm not much of a movie watcher. So to mend this I'll make a list.

It's veeery incomplete at the moment. Who would have thought that having an ungoogeable LJ could be a bad thing?! I can't find the Avengers-related movies that

keep_counting listed for me. Help?
Does anyone else have recommendations? And is Prometheus any good?

Star Trek (2009)
Because I'll have to watch the 2nd movie - with JJ Abrams and Benedict Cumberbatch, how could I now?!

The Dark Knight
Because of the Joker.

X-Men: First Class
For reasons that totally aren't ridiculous. *ahem*

Avengers-related movies would be (in this order):
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America
Both of the previous Hulk films are rather crappy and don't really play into the other films.

They're going to be doing Thor 2, Iron Man 3, Captain America 2, Avengers 2 in the future.

I love Scott Pilgrim I've seen it in theaters 3 times, and a bunch of times on dvd. It is a movie you either really like or you hate.

X-Men: First Class makes up for the rather craptastic batch of X-Men films they've done. It was the first one I'd enjoyed in quite some time. Plus the Professor X/Magneto stuff is all wonderful. And you don't have to watch any of the other films because it doesn't really have anything to do with them.

Star Trek is enjoyable on a couple of levels. They did it as an alternate timeline, so the fans of the original series couldn't be too pissy abotu what hapepns in it since these aren't the same characters from the show as they have different experiences. Zachary Quinto is AMAZING as Spock.
