1. Hey, I love Photoshop, but there are some things that just shouldn't be done with it. Like retouching pictures in a ridiculous way. Does Bilbo look weird to you in this picture? Yeah, they did something to his face :o/. I don't get why people do this if it doesn't look good.



2. The cover for Jo Rowling's The Casual Vacancy is out! It's okay, a bit boring maybe. You know how one little detail can turn your whole opinion around? I'm so very bothered by the i dot. The whole name in in upper case and then a lower-case i butts in. /pet peeve



3. And since I'm already ranting: I don't get why people go to the trouble of making shiny, retouched gifs, but then don't get rid of the station logo! Hey, if it's on an important part of the picture that can't be cropped out or the background is too difficult to recreate, I understand. But there are otherwise shiny gifs that could have been so goddamn easily delogo'd!
