And another movie off my to-watch list!
Just watched Iron Man. What I liked about it:
  • the movie as a whole
  • Pepper. And that Gwyneth Paltrow looked more real than in The Avengers (although, admittedly, the version that I've seen wasn't the best quality). But her hair annoyed me, because, really, do people in real life have the time to style their hair like that?
  • Tony. From The Avengers I didn't get enough about his character to understand him, but now I do.
  • Agent Coulson!
  • Jarvis
  • the soundtrack

I don't understand how some people can be bothered. I mean, nice hair is nice, but there are some things (like school and just everyday stuff) that just aren't worth the effort. Argh, I'm so close to starting ranting about female news readers' make up.

Will watch the second movie today, if nothing gets in the way.

Alright, you've brought it on yourself. So, one of my preferred channels for background noise is CNN and occasionally I watch. Some of the females just wear too much make up. Hey, that would make sense for the news on RTL2 - I don't take that channel seriously, so I don't mind and it fits them. But CNN is a channel to take seriously, so their people should look the part instead of like they're going to a party or something. Big, fake lashes seem to have made a big comeback and these things annoy me so much! I could just be misinterpreting it, but it feels like some people feel the need to cute-ify women. BUT WHY FIX IT, WHEN THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT?!
