Nine months ago my beloved camera's display cracked. The outer layer was fine, but one underneath it was poked by something in my backpack.



I would have sent the camera in for repair, but the warranty had only just expired. What is it with technology's timing?!
Well, it wasn't that bad, so the repair could wait. I got a bag for my camera, so it wouldn't happen again. But the display was already cracked and something as soft as the strap stuffed in the bag in the wrong way (on the display's side) could make it worse.



Last week I finally sent in the camera. For now just for a cost estimate (Which is 48€!), and then - if it's not too expensive - for repair.
