Doctor Who 7x01 Asylum of the Daleks
Yay, the new TV season has started! But I had forgotten how annoying having to stay away from the internet until I've seen the latest episode is. Anyway, here's my review:

Ooh, this place looks impressive. And a little familiar.

Wow, ridiculous heels.
It's Skaro!
Whoa, now Dalek parts can grow out of people? Ew.
LOLWUT, acquired? How stupid are you, Daleks? You don't collect the Doctor, you kill him! Right away! Or else the whole thing will backfire. Jesus Christ, no wonder that the Daleks never win.

Noooo, not a divorce! Why?? No, Amy, don't sign! Well, at least something will happen that keeps Rory from getting the papers to their destination. But if there's no happy ending for the Ponds, I will cry. Don't make me cry, Moffat!

And I'm still wondering what Rory's last name is. Can I rely on the Daleks? Is it really Williams? I'd really like it to be Pond.

"Save us." *jawfloor* Well, that was unexpected.

Meh, new opening sequence.

:O Is that the new companion?! And is she the daughter of the woman with the ridiculous heels (not impressed with all the overdressed females, by the way :o/)? Nah, maybe not - doesn't look like a prison camp. On the other hand, maybe it was wrong or old information.

My god, the Doctor and the new companion even talk in the first episode! I didn't understand her name.

Ah, Oswin (sp?). God, they're not gonna meet already too, are they?

Dammit, I liked Harvey, but then the others turn out to be dead and, come on, Harvey is totally someone with Dalek parts and forgot that he's been on the planet for more than 2 days! *sigh*
"Of course, stupid me. [...] I forgot about dying." I have to say that sounded awesomely creepy.
Let's see, what's all familiar here? The nano technology that improves you for the worse. Talking dead people. And things in people's foreheads. I think the last one is something that didn't originate in a Moffat episode.
Oswin seems a bit Mary Sue so far.

Hahaha, the Dalek stutters an incomplete "exterminate" (What's with the technology stutters lately? Isn't it enough that Muse are doing them?) and Rory thinks it's asking for eggs. Ooh, look, Dalek breasts bumps are lying around.
Okay, Oswin saves Rory - major props to her!
Now can we please reunite the Ponds?

Although I'm sure that Amy will get fixed, I'm still worrying. And another thing I'm worrying about: What if it will take until their last episode for Amy and Rory to sort out whatever their problem is?
Amy's hallucination is fun. It feels so brain-fuzzy.

Ah, nice, we find out what's the problem. But, uh, you guys, what about adoption??

Wow, that was a nice twist! The future companion has been Dalek'd big time! But since she's the future companion, I guess that's fixable!

Yes, the Ponds are back together \o/! But now I wonder what the point of that storyline was. Was it just to make us sad, Moffat, you sadist? *shakes fist*

Wow, the Daleks really have forgotten the Doctor. This is weird. I mean it's good, very helpful when you're pretending to be dead. But it's also so weird.
"Doctor who?" I have a bad feeling about this. What if the fact that the Daleks are asking The Question starts trouble? What if this leads to the Fall of the Eleventh (I'll be surprised if that isn't what I think it is)?

"Yess. Yesss." - "I can see you." Oh, Ponds, I love you so.

Ah, I didn't interpret it like that, I thought it was about Amy feeling she wasn't up for it after the whole River trauma, and Rory still wanting kids. Maybe I misheard. That would make it really stupid if it was just about some physical problem :/

Oh, interesting idea. A psychological problem would have been better. Although that still wouldn't have been an excuse for Amy just taking matters into her own hands and breaking up, instead of talking about the whole thing with Rory.
