The anniversary episode will be shown in movie theaters
... in Germany - I like that. But in 3D, which I don't like at all. On doctorwho.tv I saw that it will be in 2 cities in my federal state, and Dresden isn't one of them. I am weirdly offended by this, even though the 3D already made pretty sure that I won't be watching the episode in a theater.

I just thought I lost my mind. I had no idea you have two LJs which look similar and was searching for this entry in the other one and thought, where has it gone? LOL

Anyway, many thank for the link! I probably should friend you to not miss any important information again. So far I only relied on what has been posted to our German forum, which was the list of Cinemax cinemas airing it. Apart from Berlin, the cities were all in Western Germany and I did not want to travel to Berlin.

But Chemnitz is indeed managable, especially since there are some friends living there, so we can have a fun afternoon together and then Doctor Who in the evening. I'll take my two Doctor dolls, the Ten and the Eleven, they shall not miss this event!

I know you don't know any of us (apart from Stefanie who was with me at the Sherlock meeting) but I just wanted to let you know, if you decided to go, you would not be alone! I think it sounds like fun, sitting there in a room full of fans. Although I have no idea whether we will be the only ones or whether it will sell out.

You can't even order tickets online! Only buy them directly there.

Oh, sorry, didn't mean to confuse anyone! My point with the very similar layouts is actually to show that the 2 journals belong together.

Glad to be of help!

Ooh, I hope you'll take pictures of Ten & Eleven in the cinema and post them. XD

I'd really like to watch with fans and not having to wait for a download, but the one time I tried watching 3D I got a headache and even watching without the 3D glasses didn't make it easier to watch.

But what's the difference between the two of them? I know people who have one journal for fanfictions and one for private stuff, but I can't see which journal is for which from first glance. Just so that I know which one to follow - or maybe I shall just add both *shrugs*

I'll definitely take pictures of the Doctors in the cinema chair! Wonder if I need to buy another ticket for them? LOL

So, are you going to the Rundkino now or the CinemaXX? If they only had listened to us, we actually asked them and they said they don't expect any interest *sigh* I just looked and the room is almost full, about hundred seats gone.

[livejournal.com profile] fuesch is for my layouts and graphics and [livejournal.com profile] fueschgast is my personal journal.

Nah, I think the Doctors get pensioner discount. They're so old that they'll probably get a 100% discount.

I'm going to the Rundkino. I wish you could swap tickets to watch here, because so far I don't know of anyone I know going. My mom will accompany me, but she's not a fan.

LOL good idea with the pensioner discount! May I use that for my action figure story?

It would be too late now. Both the Rundkino and the Cinemaxx are filled nicely, with only a few not so good seats left at the right and left. When I initially found the Rundkino, they only had a small room with 6 rows, they later switched to a bigger. Of course I do not check all the time to see when good seats are up.

If they had made their mind up and sold tickets right on the 25th things would have been differently! Hope they learn from it for the 60th anniversary in ten years. It will be here sooner than we think. I will be 50 then. What a thought.

We still can all squee together afterwards about it in the internet! Wish you fun!

Hehe, please do!

I'll be 40 by the time Doctor Who turns 60 O_O. Heee, we're exact decates younger than the show, I didn't notice that before.

Yes, we can :oD. You too have fun!

I plan to see the 100th anniversary now. Matt Smith promised it would be in 12-D. I will be 90 then so it is still managable! So, see you in 50 years...

Oh god, I really want to make it to the 100th. We'll be fans who'll be interviewed for having witnessed the the 50th as well as the 100th anniversary. XD
