Only 4 months until the sequel to The Cuckoo's Calling will be released! The Silkworm - huh, there seems to be an animal naming theme. And Jo is already writing the third book of the series. Time to rename my The Cuckoo's Calling tag.

It's probably just because of my hopes for Robin, but that Jo has mapped out a series of up to 7 novels looks like we'll get some development for Robin (yeah, I know, the mapping out could just refer to the crime plots). I just desperately want her to become a real detective too.

Oh, good, the article also mentions the planned The Casual Vacancy miniseries. Can't remember if the info about 3 episodes is new or if my bad memory just forgot about it. Also, "later this year" - does that refer to filming or to transmission?

Oh, I just refreshed the Mugglenet article and it says

"Richard Brooks has written this without foundation and there aren’t seven books planned in the series.”

Heh, I love newspapers. Fairytales. As a Sherlock fan I'm very, very amused by the fact that the guy who wrote things that aren't true is only 1 letter away from having the name Richard Brook.
