2x08 Variable and Full of Perturbation
Ooh, a new clone? Wait, is that a guy? That would explain why they put something in front of his face, because otherwise that would be a boring reveal. Has it finally happened that we're meeting a male clone?! Feels weird to get a new character shortly before the season finale.
I wonder why Rachel isn't just telling the truth about Leekie's death.
I don't get Tony's hair. Is that supposed to be a mullet?
"Holy Tilda Swinton!"
So Tony is in Felix's apartment, but hasn't seen any of the clone paintings? Where are they?
Didn't see it coming that Art tells Tony Beth is dead. I thought Sarah would have to dress up as Beth again.
What's with Cosima's cough? At first I thought it was a a case of that editing technique that I don't like that much: that they lead into a new scene with its audio first. But it seems the cough is happening while we see Cosima - she just doesn't look like she's coughing.
Hee, Cosima gets in on the game.
What, Cosima hasn't gotten Delphine baked yet?
That photo of Felix and Sarah is so sweet.
I know that there's no point to a drama show without drama, but can't everything just please be alright between Alison and Donnie again?
What if Sammy really was Tony's monitor, but then stopped giving DYAD updates and kept Tony away from them? That could be why they shot Sammy.
Hee, Kira's annoyed reaction when Sarah asks Ethan if he seriously thinks that reading Kira that book is appropriate.
No, god, no. Felix and a clone kissing, I can't watch. It's so weird!
Yess, Cosima and Delphine made up! \o/
Oh god, Alison confesses the Aynsley thing. What if Donnie confesses his accidental killing now and they bond over their deathly secrets? The thought feels so weird, but also kind of nice. ... Well, so far, so weird. But I hope he remembers to mention that it was an accident.
That explains why Rachel hasn't heard from Paul. But what's with these 2 military guys? Is there a small group of them working against DYAD?
I can't believe how cold Rachel is to her dad. And I can't believe that I can't believe that.
OH! Why didn't I think of that?! Donnie took Leekie's body with him - Rachel doesn't know that he didn't get away, that he's actually dead.
Whoa, if the clones were designed to be infertile, how come that Sarah and Helena aren't?!
Did Rachel's freakout actually happen or did she just think what she'd like to do?
Aw, Scott's reaction learning that Cosima is 324B21.
JFC, this is not how you end an episode! I just want Cosima to be healthy again.
Ooooh, iiiinteresting book. Did they put that in here to not end the episode so negatively?
Orphan Black 2x09 Things Which Have Never Yet Been Done
I find Alison's competence in dealing with a dead body strangely awesome. But I don't like the Desperate Housewives-ness of this storyline.
Now that Helena has her eggs back, she'll run away again, right?
Wow, Rachel seems so different. I wonder if last episode's revelation made her feel for her fellow clones or if she's just trying to deceive Delphine.
The Proletheans have a nursery?! Oh god, what if that will make Helena want to stay.
I know they can't just keep dyeing the wig, but it bothers me that Helena's hair never seems to grow out more or that she's redyeing.
Mark was in the military? Has that anything to do Sammy and Paul?
Ethan seems suspicious of Martin, and so am I.
One of these days I'll understand Alison's house. That ground floor seems to be the basement too. I need to see the outside of the house from other perspectives!
I am imagining it or did Gracie just start liking Helena, when the latter threatened that nursery woman?
The music during Kira's operation reminds me of the sad melody from Lost, Win One For The Reaper.
I think Donnie's letting on a bit too much about the shooting in Vic's presence.
"God, I hate this garage."
Ahaha, I love that Vic is even posing for the picture.
"Have a shitty day." What an awesomely gif-able thing.
That soundtrack here sounds like 2 things: 1. as if it's coming out of small speakers, so with Donnie looking at his phone, you'd think it's a ringtone. 2. Supernatural's Dean's Dirty Organ (the part that starts 25 minutes in).
Ha, of course he'd impregnate Gracie too. After that marriage conversation he had with Mark. What a sicko.
Sooo... these emotional outbursts that Rachel has here again, are they in her head or actually happening?
Whoa, what is she up to now?
Does that e-mail mean Benjamin is actual a DYAD guy?!
Did Gracie really just change sides?
Argh, bad timing, Mr. Johanssen!
But now he's definitely pissed off Helena, which can only end badly for him, muahahaha.
Good to see that Mark isn't a completely lost cause.
Yay, for Helena!
OMG, Alison and Donnie getting it on right after they finished hiding the body.
Johanssen is waking up to an interesting situation. Ahahaha, well done, Helena.
Wow, that escalated quickly.
Rachel as Sarah?! Jesus fucking Christ, I didn't see that one coming! Wait, what if the e-mail about Ben was a setup? I should have seen it coming! When she looked at the pictures of Sarah and Kira, I thought she it looked like she wants to abduct Kira.
Rachel is taking a leaf out of Leekie's book by taking a child that's not hers. Can't she see the fucked-up-ness of that? ... Okay, so she's kind of, sort of aware. Ugh, poor Kira getting taken from her mom all the time - it needs to stop. That's my wish for the end of the season. That and that Cosima is cured.
