I thought I'd have muscle ache from wandering up Arthur's Seat the day before, but I was fine. Phew.
Sis and I went to a post office in a shopping center. I bought 20 stamps (because last time I got my reply back with 8 of the 10 stamps I had sent), put them in the letter to Andrew Scott and sent the letter and my postcards. I spend nearly 25 Pounds on this!
Then all 4 of us went to an Asian buffet restaurant. It was weirdly big and dark. But the food was gooood.
My mom bought me this awesome cat hat-glove thingy.
We went to Scott Monument.
Where my sister was stalking a squirrel.
This is one of the pictures she took. You can see me filming the following video.
The others went up Scott Monument, while I took some notes for my diary.
View from the top of the first staircase, I think.
Here you can see the castle. Also the gallery that after 3 vacations here we still haven't visited.
I got so bored waiting for the others to come back down that I thought "screw my fear of heights" and went up too.
As a Harry Potter fan these initials caught my eye among all the other names people left on the walls.
Fuck yeah, unicorns!
Arthur's Seat, where we walked up the day before.
I only made it up 2 of the 3 staircases. Towards the end of the 2nd my fear of heights took over and I pretty much crawled to the top of the staircase.
Sis is veeery orange today.
We walked through Princes Street Gardens.
Whoa, I had no idea that there are poppies that aren't red!
This conifer's leaves are so neatly vertical!
In Castle Street (so called because of the view) mom and I bought a Big Issue in exchange for information about where the next shook store is. Turned out the seller wasn't from here, is Canadian and only arrived 3 weeks ago or so. But he still could direct us to the next book store.
Got myself the souvenir I wanted: The Hobbit. Finally I can read it in English.
On the top floor the book store had a café, so we sat down for a coffee/tea there.
Wise words. Though I don't quite understand why a man shouldn't wear coffee perfume too.
This cake was insanely sweet O_O. A weird version of hedgehog slice, it included peanut butter and Oreos.
Those stairs! I like those stairs.
And you have a nice view on the Castle here too.
Seriously, can't I just move into this book store?
Pfft, a Sherdog manga!
Not only do they have books, but also Star Wars merch! Because 2 days earlier if was May the Fourth.
This thing is fun, I kinda want it.
Build A Bear has My Little Pony!
And they have Star Wars clothes too! Not for ponies, though.
Two things I like in one: Converse and space. *ヮ*
Argh, I love this pattern, but I don't like buying shoes that I don't need.
But I couldn't resist, because I seriously have a thing for this pattern. So I went into the souvenir shop and tried the shoes on. I only didn't buy them, because there were none in my size.
