Edinburgh vacation, day 10
It was our last full day in Edinburgh, so it was time to do all the things we hadn't managed to do yet.

Mom, sis and I went to Calton Hill. Sis went even up Nelson Monument.

That's what the street on which our vacation apartment is looks like from Calton Hill. Also, I don't think I've seen a pitched roof on such a high building before.

Is that sign supposed to be so hard to read?

Speak friend and enter.

My sister and I went to the botanic garden.

So orange (and crinkled) poppies exist too.

The flowers kind of remind me of the Alien alien.

I could post sooo many plants and animals from the botanical garden! Picking just a few is so hard.

Pair o' ducks.

A majestic magpie.

No seriously, I could spam you with squirrels. I have taken so many great photos.

What an interesting way to fix a way.

If you wanna see squirrels, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is an awesome place for it!

Hedge gate from the inside.

We ran out of squirrel food and bought some more in the garden's main building.

6 squirrels (and several pigeons) in 1 picture.

I remember when I took this picture, I heard Germans again. Hehe, we really seem to love this city, you can hear Germans everywhere here!

The greenhouse heat made the lens foggy ...but it's a nice effect.

Whoa, a turquoise flower!

This is so perfect!

Squirrel tongue!

Very twisted tree.

Then we went to Portobello Beach.

N'aw, can you see the tiny crab?

Does anyone know what these things are? My mom thinks they're jellyfish, but I wonder if there are jellyfish that actually look like that.
