Sherlocked Con
Of course the convention's website crashed the moment the first guests were announced, but luckily Sherlockology had some info. So no Andrew Scott so far. There will be more guests announced soon, though. *crosses all the digits*

By now the website is working and has provided me some interesting information (gah, everything costs extra) - except the photoshoot price. This is important information, dammit!

You are only going for Andrew? Not Benedict? Apparently his autographs and pictures are limited to the expensive packages, and apparently VIP is already sold out? I was saying this all the time - with this being an official con, it will be expensive. I'm out. I got a very cheap picture last year compared to that. Glad I took the opportunity.

When I read about Benedict's limited photos/autographs, I was so glad that I'm not a fan of his. I mean, meeting him would certainly be cool, but I could live without it. But I'd really, really love to meet Andrew.

Yeah, it's stupidly expensive (one of the things that annoys me is that they start selling tickets before we know all the guests) and my mom keeps insisting we should try to meet Andrew when he's doing a play or something. That way we could get a free picture. Unfortunately I only know of one play at the moment and I don't want to see it, it's a depressing one.

I also prefer cons where when I buy my ticket I know exactly what I will get for my money. Here it seems like you might buy a weekend ticket but still could miss out when photo or autograph tickets go on sale, due to heavy demand. That sucks.

Obviously, you don't need to see the play to go to see Andrew on stage door! With David Tennant, we were there two hours before the play ended, so if you are in the theatre, you will never be able to make it to the stage door in time before they come out, and there are long lines. So why not go to London anyway, just see a musical or something? Plus stage door?

The thing is that if I should have no luck at the stage door, at least I would have seen him in the play.

That specific play is in Dublin. I've never been there, so it would be cool to visit and meeting other fans at the stage door would be cool, but the play is in just 2 weeks, so there's not enough time to plan.
