Last year in August
alias_chick visited me. I never dared to ask her how her real name is prononunced, so I only learned the pronunciation when she called me that morning. That was also when I first heard her voice.
After I had picked her up from the train station and unfortunately didn't talk much on the tram ride to my apartment (because I'm not used to speaking English), we ate a welcome cake on my balcony.
Quarkkuchen (a sort of cheesecake).
Then I showed her around the city a bit.
The Zwinger.
Nymphs' Bath in the Zwinger...
...I hadn't seen that before. At least not that I can remember.
We took a ride with a sightseeing bus. Yeah, I went sightseeing in my city, heh! But you're not getting any pics of sights, because I can't be bothered. Unless anyone wants to see them.
Ooh, interesting vehicle!
Then we went to the botanic garden and stalked animals.

alias_chick and her great camera...
...taking better pictures than mine. *envious*
How does it do that? o_รด
Water beetles still amuse me.
I saw these two mating in flight. Did you know they can mate in flight?!
Deb and her sister Flo. XD
Funnily shaped petals.
I wouldn't want to have one of those fall on me.

A nuthatch.

Seriously,
alias_chick's camera ♥!
Thunderstorm approaching.

A lucky variety of clover.
The botanic garden has the prettiest lamp post.
And then we went home, because it was very windy, wet and thundering.
