Spooks: The Greater Good
I didn't even know this movie exists. Although... I think I'm starting to vaguely remember hearing about it being in the works.

  • Nice to show Ruth's grave. But I still would have preferred to see her alive.

  • I can't believe they killed Erin off! No, actually I can believe it. It's just that it's cheap and now they turned this movie into the Harry Show, because who else is there to root for and also a familiar character?

  • Oh, I'm only recognizing Tuppence Middleton now, although she's appeared at the beginning.

  • Malcolm! \o/

  • OMG, they filmed in Germany! I'm getting a kick out of seeing familiar election posters.

  • Well, that was watchable. But also brutal.

  • Okay, I had to check, because at first I thought Calum was a new character, but then he felt very vaguely familiar. So he actually was a character who's also been on the show - and they fucking killed him off!

I remember when people would complain about Torchwood killing everyone off and I'd think how the death count even when done by deaths by cast member number ratio seemed much higher on Spooks, lol. It had everyone and killed everyone off eventually...except Tom amazingly.

Just in your movie description alone, you describe at least three deaths.

Still, I totally want to see it. I've watched every single episode at least once...some of the early stuff with Matthew MacFadyen, David Oyelowo and Keeley Hawes...I've watched those like 3-5 times a piece.

Well, at least Ruth was already dead. Not that that makes it any better.

With the movie it has become more brutal, more like 24. You could say it was doubly ruthless. It's been a while since I've watched the show, but I swear Harry has changed. But I guess it makes sense, after all he lost Ruth.

Ah, yes, the Keeley-Hawes era is my favorite.
