Only [unknown number of] sleeps until Christmas!
On Friday I was still so exhausted from the day before's movie-going that I only lazed around all day.
Speaking of Star Wars: I haven't properly fangirled about it with anyone yet D:. Come on, guys, let's flail together!

Most of Sunday I spent sleeping, because I only managed to to fall asleep around 10 or 11am. Only woke up 1 hour into Monday.

Oh god, my bedtimes are so messed up that I don't know if I'll manage to be awake at 2pm on the 24th for our family Christmas >_<. Which we've set so early, because we're hoping to Skype with my sis in Australia. And we don't even know if she'll be available for that! :o/

We can fangirl about Star Wars, I've finally seen it! :D Not that I'm a proper fan or anything, so I probably missed some callbacks to the old films and all that, but I still have a soft spot for the franchise and I thought the new episode was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. Apart from the Kylo Ren part, I didn't like his face and didn't think his motivations were convincing enough. But oh, well. Seeing it again on Thursday, in English this time.

Have you seen my very incomplete review?

Yes, it's a great continuation of the story, I'm happy with it. If there's anything I'm not cool with, it's losing Han.

Haha, didn't like Kylo Ren's face. It seems no one does. In the movie theater there was a group behind us who kept joking about stuff. Like when Rey wanted to see Kylo Ren's face and he took his mask off, the people behind us were all "Ew, put the mask back on!".
I can't comprehend his motivation either, but in a way it makes sense: He's a whiny git, must have gotten that from his grandpa. I couldn't understand Vader either. I mean, why continue on the dark path? Padmé was the reason he started on it, but why continue when she's dead? I try to explain it away by telling myself that he's lost everything (his mom, his wife, his child) and deals with his pain by making others suffer. But I don't quite buy it.

Wait, you're going to the movie theather on Christmas?

I'm afraid to watch it again, because I desperately want to type a full review. But thoroughly taking notes seems like such an overwhelming task!
