God, I'm so worried that I won't be happy with what we'll get in this episode. What if they really retcon the aliens? What if they don't explain why nothing happened on the 12th of December 2012 (I mean, even without aliens having had a part in this conspiracy, something was supposed to happen that day)? What if, after all the fuss about William, they don't show him? What if they leave that stuff hanging?! Because I encountered a spoiler that this episode ends with a cliffhanger. I was glad to know that beforehand, so at least I'm not in for the same shock as I got from Sherlock 1x03. But what if it ends before we get something of the things I mentioned?
Ugh, they shouldn't show those "typical" scoop marks again. I know that I have a bad memory, but I swear these things have never come up before 10x01.

The zombie apocalypse is happening! Soo... do we have a partial answer here? What's starting to happen now is what was supposed to happen in 2012? Which actually wouldn't be too surprising, because lots of projects have their completion dates getting pushed back.

Well, that's really not what I thought Reyes has been up to in the meantime. I mean, I know working on the X-files fucks with people's lives (I wonder how Doggett is), but that one's far out.
Ah, there's the confirmation of 2012. Which makes this a great episode. Finally we're getting what we should have gotten years ago \o/. But really, you can't tell me that there hasn't been any alien involved since Roswell.
Man, I was looking forward to Scully saving the world with her DNA - but now the alien part is gone?
Not only has Mulder managed to get into CSM's house, but now also Miller. Doesn't CSM have any security?!

As O'Malley reports that the end is nigh, I image CNN running the Turner doomsday video.

OMG, Scully says the magic word: Stem cells. This can only mean William! And there she says it! But dammit, I just noticed the time. Hey, I've learned from 24 that a lot can happen in a short time, but I don't have any hope of them finding William in less than a minute. So I guess this is it, this is the cliffhanger. I'm glad I was forewarned.
Surprise UFO! ..OH, goddammit! It didn't even do anything, like prove that aliens have been there after Roswell or give us William ex machina or beam Scully aboard (in which case I hoped she'd leave the IV bag on the bridge)!
I'm surprisingly happy with this episode, considering that out of the 3 things I wanted I only got 1.
