Rewatched Doctor Who 10x12
Such an iconable episode! I hope I'll find the time to make all those icons.

Since my latest Life on Mars rewatch I can't hear "stay" without getting feels.

Since we once again have a Time Lord meeting a different incarnation of themselves, I wondered if the Master ever met himself in the same incarnation. Has the Doctor ever met himself in the same incarnation? If not, they should really do that.

I had this spectacularly far-fetched idea about whoever will get a big role in S11: They will find the Doctor, not the other way around, and will try to become the companion. If they don't succeed, they'll keep turning up, trying to be friends. And it'll turn out to be the Master's new incarnation, who just wanted to be friends without the baggage. Especially as Missy seemed to have abandoned the Doctor, so the Doctor might not be inclined to trust the Master anymore.

"Is the future gonna be all girl?" Chris Chibnall, I challenge you to give that female Doctor a female companion or two!

I was actually just wondering the same thing while watching "The Hungry Earth" (I think? The one with the clone!Doctor in any case). Though I have a vague memory that in "Father's Day" there was some wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey reason why it couldn't/shouldn't happen.

Do you mean the Flesh!Doctor? I wouldn't count that, because it's not the Doctor himself and doesn't involve time travel. But in The Hungry Earth two-parter the Doctor did see himself & companions in the distance, so that one sort of counts. Only "sort of" because what I'm looking for is having actual adventures with himself. And I think it should be possible. I suspect that the Doctor could touch his other self without anything happening (no idea though why it would affect companions, but not the Doctor) - he's met other incarnations of himself and all that happened was that the earlier incarnation couldn't remember much about the encounter, so the same would probably happen if the Doctor met him-/herself in the same incarnation.
